These terms cover your use of the Producing Unscripted site and its articles, podcast, free guides, newsletter, quiz, and other available resources. Separate terms may apply to show submissions or consulting bookings. Read those terms before you take either action.
Using the site and free materials
You may read and listen to material made available here, download free guides and podcast episodes where a download is offered, and share links to public pages and episodes. These permissions are for your personal use. Do not republish, sell, or distribute copies of our material, remove credit or copyright notices, or use our name or branding to suggest an endorsement without permission. Uses allowed by law remain allowed. Producing Unscripted retains its rights in its original site content and branding; third-party material belongs to its respective owners.
Do not interfere with the site, try to access nonpublic systems without permission, send spam or malicious content, or misuse its forms. We may restrict abusive access or remove abusive submissions where appropriate.
Pitches and creative submissions
The general contact form is not a pitch channel. If you want us to consider a show project, use the designated pitch process and read and accept the separate submission agreement presented there. That agreement controls the creative submission and related rights; these general site terms do not replace or amend it. Signing up for the newsletter or using another free resource does not guarantee a project review, response, development deal, purchase, or production. Do not submit confidential material through the general contact form.
Consulting and outside services
Joining the consulting waitlist does not reserve an appointment. Before you book, review the price, payment, cancellation, and other booking terms shown. Some pages link to or display outside podcast, video, or other services. Their terms and privacy notices apply when you use those services. A link or embedded item does not mean we control that service or endorse everything on it.
Educational content and availability
We share our experience as producers for general education. Industry practices change, and older articles and episodes may reflect the time they were made. We cannot promise that a particular pitch, career step, or business result will succeed. This content is not individualized legal, financial, or business advice.
We may update, correct, or remove site content and features. We work to keep the site available and accurate, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability or that every older item remains current.
Changes and contact
We will post revisions to these terms here with a new effective date.
